JVC D-ILA Calibration Advice?

I just purchased a 52" JVC D-ILA set and was looking for some basic tips on how to calibrate it using any one of the available discs i.e DVE, Avia etc.. What modes should I turn off and which ones to leave on, what color setting and viewer setting etc..

All advice is greatly appreciated.

Jvc Hd-61z575 D-ila

I just bought a new HD-ILA JVC 61" and was also wondering what kind of calibration can be done. I'm not thrilled with the picture like I was expecting to be. Any advice would be appreciated.

Are you running HDTV? If your are not thrilled with the picture calibration is not going to make a huge difference. It will make some suttle changes though.

No matter how I adjust my JVC it always looks great, calibration seems to make little or no change, and I have been tweaking for weeks with my DVE disc.
