JBL PSW-DS110 is humming

My old PSW-DS110 is humming instead of producing sweet base. I'd really like to repair it. Is there a particular repair kit I can get to replace some of the likely-culprit components? I found some old forum posts about a C6 repair kit, but I can't find that anywhere. I also emailed JBL, but I haven't gotten a response.

Well another plate amp power supply has bitten the dust. These are generally not serviceable.

Your only option is to see if you can retrofit another plate amp, like a BASH amp to your sub. This will involve carpentry as the new plate amp must seal. Your other option, is to leave your amp there and fit terminals to the speaker so you can use an external amp.

If this seems a stretch, then you are in the market for a new sub.
