ipod dock for my Yamaha AVR?

My wife got an ipod touch as a gift this christmas and she's wanted to plug it into my Yamaha receiver.

I hooked up a headphone minijack to RCA adapter into the vacant VCR input and that's doing the trick BUT she wants to control it with the harmony from the kitchen, so I need something more sophisticated than an adapter cord it seems.

I found this online which may work out: http://www.amazon.com/iConcepts-Universal-Docking-Wireless-19688C-IP/dp/B000P6H926 but am not sure.

I figure some of you guys here would say upgrade my receiver to a newer one that has an ipod dock with it or as an option. I'm happy with no ipod hooked up to it at all, but I've got to appease the wife, and hopefully inexpensively. I don't need optical connections as my 3 optical inputs on the yamaha are occupied already.

What do you suggest to solve this dilemma? Thanks in advance.

If you prefer the apple branded one.

It has a/v lr and composite video so you can see whats going on on the screen, and watch movies.
edit. never mind, you have to have the composite video cables for that part to work.

For full control with OSD you probably should use the YDS-10 YAMAHA IPOD DOCK or what ever model your Yamaha AVR calls for. I just gave one away last month (didn't know you needed it).

Highlander also has one of the best universal docks on the market for sale at a very good price. I will see if I can find his link.

I can't find his link so PM him. http://forums.audioholics.com/forums/member.php?u=21189

Thanks for the leads. That Tekkeon model is tempting!
