I want to get the transient/pressure in your chest feel

Looking to fill my ~2100 cu ft space(rectangle).
I want it to somewhat pressurize the room, enough that I feel the bass.

I have two options, which route should I go and with what subs?

1. Buy one large sub now, for $1K or less delivered.
-or-
2. Buy one of two subs now, for ~$600 or less and a second of the same in a couple months.

For me it would depend on a few things...

Do you want to feel movie bass or music bass or both?

If for music, do you listen to electronic music or music with or pipe organ in it?

Is the room sealed or open to the rest of the house?

Can you place the sub(s) near field?

Ideally both...50-80Hz punch and <25Hz LFE...if I have to choose one over the other it would be LFE but it is so close.

I listen to Rock from the start to today, as well as some motown, opera, r&b and hip-hop.

It is my living room open to my kitchen, sealed from the rest completely.(total of 2100 cu ft)

I could place the subs nearfield, but with the small dual 8's I have now, which I'm replacing, the best spots by far were the front stage with one near a corner.

Dual FV12 will be transient and punch imo

Epik Empire or dual Outlaw LFM-1 EX's would be awesome.

That's what I have. It's in a room that is open to the rest of the house and it digs low without any issue. I like it and it has variable tuning features which is very nice. If it is in good shape that's the way I would go if I only wanted one sub. The PB12 plus has been upgraded since then with a different amp. (not sure about the driver.)

Which leads me to my last question....is that older PB12-Plus the equivalent of the brand new version of the PB12-NSD?
