Can anybody recommend some good resources (online or print) for designing/ re-designing a dedicated home theatre?
Currently I have a small dedicated theater in my finished basement. The basement was finished when I moved in, so all I really had to do was place equipment, run cables, decorate etc. I didn't have to put in walls, firebreaks between studes, run electricity, etc. I'm a database programmer by trade, and most of my handyman skills come from Home Depot books. However, my wife and I will be moving into a new house and the basement/ garage is completely unfinished.
Are there any good websites, how to books, print resources I should be looking over as I start laying out the designs for the new space?
