I have 4wires going to sub (Definitive). Left + and -, Right + and -. Using basic twisted speaker wire. I am setting up 5.1 system. Receiver is Denon avr3300. Any ideas on where to connect these 4 wires to receiver? Do i need to put different connectors on the wires or any other ideas?
i cannot change the wire as it is already in the wall.

You really should be using a shielded interconnect with RCA jacks on both ends from the receiver's sub/LFE out to the sub's line level input. You would then adjust the sub from the receiver's bass management menu. Let's call this "option 1".

But, from what you say you will need to tell your receiver that you are NOT using a subwoofer and connect both + and - terminals on the sub to the respective front right and left speaker outputs and make any bass adjustments directly on the sub. The receiver will be totally out of the picture here.

IIWY, I'd fine a way to use option 1.
