How good is the Audessey on the Integra?

I have the Integra 40.2 pre pro but never use the audessey room correction, I always adjust the sound level manually. Am I missing a lot?

Yes you're missing quite a bit. Audyssey is not a gimmick or another throw away feature. It can seriously improve the whole listening experience. In a big way.

I think it depends on your room. In mine, it does not make much difference except for bass management. It does seem to flatten the bass curve for me with just a couple of dips.

Absolutely IMO. At worst if you don't like it, you can turn it off and go back to your old settings.
