I have had my hdmi cables for a few years. At least the one going to my tv. Its about 1/2" thick dont know what its rating is like 1.2 or 1.3 or whatever hdmi is rated as. The ones connecting my cable box and BD player are from comcast and I dont know what they are rated at either.
So my question is. Do you all think I need to upgrade them to be sure they are rated at whatever hdmi is out now or are they fine. If upgrades are suggested please shoot me a link or site.
I wonder if its more hype than anything else.

Are you having trouble with picture quality issues or an inability to maintain handshake? If not, you are fine for now.

Seriously, I have no life.
IMO, no cable company would supply cables that cause people to make trouble calls. That would not only waste their money for the parts but it would waste more in vehicle costs and labor charges. Since they build the price into every charge, they can save a lot of money by spending enough on good parts and it doesn't make a noticeable difference on everyone's bill.
