I have a Garrard Model 912 compact disc player that does not always engage the disc to play, it tries but then rotates to another disc space and eventually moves back to the disc, after several whirls around it starts playing the disc with great sound. I have used a lens cleaner thinking it may be an issue with a dirty lens . I picked this unit up at Goodwill for 10.00 and would like to get it working rather than selling it for a parts unit. Any ideals ? This is a rare turntable type player with a lid that raises up like a turntable exposing the 5 disc table. Thanks for any help.
