I'm trying to declutter my apartment, in the near future will get rid of this wood coffee table (50" wide, 26" deep, 16" high) with a smaller round one, maybe glass or metal top, will that present acoustic problems?

Ideally, you don't want any flat hard surfaced furniture (coffee tables, for instance) between you and your speakers. It creates another "first reflection" point. However, with all the random stuff you have on your existing table, it's hard to say what is actually going on.

Big coffee tables, regardless of material, are less desirable for HT. Audiot is correct, but I will say that while I prefer the sound without the table, it made only a slight difference putting it back in my room.

Try and get the smallest table you can, glass being the least desirable. Also consider increasing the toe-in of your front speakers - start in the center seat, and lean side to side until the sound is equal at all 3 seats.

May want to look at a leather Ottoman w/storage to replace your coffee table.
