1 Year old. Rarely used in excellent condition. used external emotiva xpa-5 power amp. Comes with original remote and original shipping box. Sold my xpa-5 few months ago and down sizing.

Pioneer SC-O5 and Emotiva XPA 5

I am thinking about using an Emotiva XPA with my Pioneer Elite SC-25 to run my B&W 703s, HTM3S and DS3s. Did you notice a significant improvement in using the Emotiva XPA 5 (200wpc - Calss AB) to replace the 140wpc - Class D amplification from the Pioneer Elite SC-05?

yes, XPA-5 improvement was night and day. keep in mind I'm using maggies so the digital amps are not so matched for planars, in my case. hope that helps.
