Nice speakers... I heard their floorstanders at a local shop they were trying to unload and wanted $5k for the floormodels... The Imaging was out of this world.. Seriously blew me away... Cabinet woodwork was flawless... Can I ask what you paid for those?

You could easily blend any sub with your speakers, there are a number of different Internet brands avail. SVS, HSU, Axiom. AV123
they all make great products, that are far better then most store bought brands, and better priced..
Might we ask what your room size is..? and primary listening... music/movies

Induction Dynamics S1T response to thread

I got these due to the fact I am a CEDIA installer and
am able to get a very good discount.I really am not suppose to reveal
pricing, under $4200 new++++.ID subs are way too exspensive.I want to
match the finish as close as possible.Your SVS idea is excellent! If you ever
think you want a pair of any ID let me know.
Thanks very much,
Paul

You keep using "ID" and most people around here equate that to Internet Direct, as Induction Dynamics aren't widely talked about here.. Just an FYI for any boards you will visit...

But in this case, out of all the subs listed I gave you, the SVS would probably have the nicest selection of wood finishes...

BUT all company's listed have very qualifying subs... Just need to figure out what it is your looking for...

Is this sub for Music/or HT... What size is your room...

Emailing any of these companies usually results in very quick answers.

Thank You for your input. You are right.I need to say
Imduction Dynamics.Iwill be using the sub to fill in the bottom octave.I am
a music lover and not really into surround.I'M thinking of getting either the
new Onkyo Cd player 7555 or the Rega Apollo.I have a HK 325 which I preamp
to a HK Signature 2100 pwr amp for the front 2 channels.Ialso use a Marantz
4300 DVD player.Rest of the system consists of an HRS recovery system and
tripplite Omni Smart 1000 UPS,cables are by Ixos, also have a smaller system
with Cambridge A3i intergrated using a Samsung DVD301 for cd's and Castle
Severn2 spkrs.Pretty good sound, but not in the same ballpark as my main
system.I have a pair of Edge Audio 502,s that I may use for surround. If you
think of ant other good subs that may work let me know.I have thought about
the Monitor RSW12.
Thanks again
Paul
P.S. If I can help with any future expenditures let me know.

Here is a link to a thread specifically on someones thoughts of different brands of subs and his view of their rankings in his testing environment. Keep in mind though, that these guys are way heavy into Home Theater, and Very Low output, which doesn't necessary lend itself to 2 channel audio....

If your mostly into music, might I suggest a different approach in finding something of a more musical nature in a sub...
Don't buy a sub on its looks alone...
Maybe a Paradigm Servo or a Velodyne DD-12 they are a bit more expensive, but very articulate in nature. But it seems that you strive to have some better quality equipment... or in the less expensive route I would say a SVS-SB12.

For music you might do better with a sealed sub rather then a ported.
Here is a review by audioholics on the SVS sealed sub.
