Finally Verizon fios tv!!

Just found out Verizon is going to have fios tv available in my neighbourhood in June this year. Finally I can kick comcast to the curb!! Paying over 100 bucks for plain old digital cable + hbo. With verizon, I'll get the same channels plus hbo, and hd channels for 25 bucks less.

I already have their 5/2 fiber optic internet. It's great, have had no problem with that so far.

is picture quality supposed to be way better ? if so how much better ?

I would assume picture quality is better, but it's the cost factor thats makes it really attractive. More content for less is always better.
