Everything one wants to know about Bose speakers

Unlike any other speaker or amplifier manufacturer, Bose refuses to publish any frequency response charts or distortion data on their products (and with good reason). And thus a few independent audiophiles, industry professionals, and newsgroups have taken it upon themselves to benchmark test the much debated Acoustimass system. The resulting numbers are always consistent. Here is a pretty credible one sourced from the August 1999 issue of Sound and Vision magazine...

ya..i know but I could not find any links on this forum for this information and in the better interests of budding audiophiles I thought this would be worth it.

My brother wants to get a Bose complete system (the one that is about three thousand). He spent over $10,000 on 2 T.V.'s in September and thinks Bose would be a good match to complete his system. I have been trying to talk him out of it for months. I just sent him the link. THANKS!
