Dude was probably hired by some other manufacturer! :D

I just saw this. I can't get a hold of Brian Ding of Rythmik but hopefully he knows and is working on a solution. I will also send an email to Chad of Epik.

Don't click through to those pages, they have embedded trojans.

Can anyone get on Emotiva's website? I fear they may have been the next target.

It appears that the guy only messed with the main/index page. The other pages on the websites are fine.

Hmm, tell me BSA what profit was there in doing that?

Pure vandalism nothing more.

Sorry could not resist:)

Haha, I'd pick more interesting targets, like apple ;)

Looks like Emotiva and Epik are back online, Rythmik is still has defaced main page. If anyone wishes to contact them here's the number: +512 565 0292

Most likely the guy had no idea what he was targeting - just mass scanning IPs for an obvious open vulnerability and then automatically defacing as it went.
