3) Yes

4) Depends on the details of the service. If I could download unlimited amounts of music that I then own for life for 20 bucks a month I would go the subscription route. If not id rather just pay per track. Id really rather just buy the album on disc and have something I can touch thats all mine though.

Have you purchased 24bit music in the past?
Nope.

If so, what are the sources you have purchased from?
Not applicable.

Are you willing to pay more for higher quality audio?
Yes, but it all depends on the price and the bitrate/quality.

When purchasing music online, do you prefer a subscription or a pay per track/album model?
I'd prefer to pay per track/album, simply cos I may not find anything I want in a particular week/month. But I will not purchase anything unless I own it outright -- if I lose the file should I terminate membership or the company goes bankrupt, I'm gonna be mighty P.O.ed.

1. Have you purchased 24bit music in the past?
Yes
2. If so, what are the sources you have purchased from?
Amazon, CDUniverse, HDTracks
3. Are you willing to pay more for higher quality audio?
Yes, but only marginally so (10-15%)
4. When purchasing music online, do you prefer a subscription or a pay per track/album model?
Depends on how much I'd use a subscription svc., i.e., now good is the catalog. Monthly subscription service would be fine if no more than say 6-8x the cost of a per track model.

  1. Have you purchased 24bit music in the past?

I have SACD and DVD-A content in my collection.
  2. If so, what are the sources you have purchased from?

Both brick and mortar stores and musicdirect.com
  3. Are you willing to pay more for higher quality audio?

    Obviously.
  4. When purchasing music online, do you prefer a subscription or a pay per track/album model?

I prefer to buy whole albums. I see an album, more than a single, as a work. Granted, that's not always the case, but I like the familiarity and flow of an entire album rather than a randomly ordered playlist.

Are you willing to pay more for higher quality audio? Usually; depends on exact price difference between Good and Better.
When purchasing music online, do you prefer a subscription or a pay per track/album model? Per Track/Album, like iTunes. Too few things that I really want enough to justify a full subscription fee (whatever that might be).
