I received a DVD recorder (free) with my Plasma when I bought it.
It's a Samsung DVD R130.
I haven't tried recording anything yet and wondered how, if any, are hooking it up to a cable box, DVR, and getting success? I can't conect it to the TV directly , as it is a 30ft run and I don't have any more cables that long. I can do AV or component to my Home theatre DVD palyer to play it with but I want to 'record' and wondered how any of you are connecting ? Basicly...is it possible to connect to the DVR provided by the cable company ?
