Denon X4000

Hi Guys,

I recently bought a Denon X4000 and wanted to change the master volume to display in + or - db but cant figure out how.

Right now the display only shows 0-98 as a volume level. Read the manual but nothing.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi. I always change that, too , so I know what you're talking about.

It's in the "Audio" menu under "Volume." It's described on page 155 of the manual.

on page 155 it says Volume, then it say set how volume is displayed, but then nothing.

If you have done it please explain

Hi Fowl,

In that menu setting, just set it to "–79.5dB – 18.0dB" and I believe that it will do what you want it to.
