Denon DRA-N5...with vintage speakers?

Hello,
I am interested in the Denon DRA-N5 paired with some vintage book shelf speakers such as the Advent. A couple of questions.

1) Will the Advent speaker work plugged right into the Denon or would I need an additional amplifier for these speakers? If an amp is needed, is there a vintage book shelf speaker out there that wouldn't need an amp (space constraints to consider and would like to avoid an additional unit).

2) What vintage subwoofer would anyone suggest?

I will use the Denon primarily for music, Pandora/Internet radio. Some CDs. Occasionally movies, but not necessary to have big surround sound.

Any suggestions or thoughts appreciated.

The Denon website shows it as putting out 65 watts @ 4 ohms and that should be more than adequate for any speaker any logical person would mate with this thing.

As for vintage subwoofers, there really aren't any, assuming your definition of vintage includes the original Advent lineup. Subs really only took off with the advent (see what I did there? :D ) of home theatre. Look for a modern subwoofer.
