Definitive Tech BP2x placement

They will be going on the back wall behind my couch.

Def Tech is suggesting 24 inches above seated head height
Seems a little high if its 24 inches to the bottom of the speaker.

I think any height is fine as long as they are not in the way or physically interfere with anything in your room.

Generally you place surrounds 2-4 feet about ear level. You want the surrounds to be diffuse sounding not directional, so the higher the better, up to a certian point. 2 feet would be great, click on the link in my sig, it is hidden in the words bedroom system, and you can see how high up on the walls my BP2X are.
