Hello.
I have an old set of Harman Kardon HK 595 computer speakers. I do not have the original mains lead for these speakers, and would like to choose a correctly rated fuse. Harman Kardon were not able to provide an answer, since the speakers were manufactured by Dell.
The manual states the speakers have a maximum power usage of 120 W, and the speaker set is fitted with a 1 A fuse. Since I live in the UK, my power supply is 240 V / 13 A. One can buy fuses rated at 3, 5, and 13 A. I'm guessing that a 3 A fuse will be adequate.
Any thoughts? Thanks for any help.
