Seriously, I have no life.
I downloaded this production from the BBC and watched it this morning. This is rewritten for TV from the play that has run in London and New York.

The Queen is dead, and Charles takes the thrown. However he refuses to sign a law infringing of free speech rights. A constitutional crisis ensues all along with a family drama.

Controversially a lot of the drama is written in iambic pentameter that Shakespeare so loved.

It seems that this makes speech easier to understand. Shakespeare played to huge crowds and there was no PA then. Now we have loud action scenes that can make dialog hard to understand.

This will air this Sunday May 14 on Public Television 9/8c. This is well worth a watch. I won't divulge anymore of the plot.
