Ceiling Mounted Satellites or In-Ceiling Speakers

Due to floor-space I have limited options for my Left and Right front speakers: I have pre-existing wire ran from where the A/V equipment will reside to the right/left side of the ceiling in front of the listening/sitting area. I was going to ceiling mount two satellites and direct them at the listener but the more I think about it I think that in-ceilings might be a better option; I know that Speakercraft makes some really high-end in-ceilings which are extremely flexible. Can anyone comment on the pros/cons of the two options I've outlined?

FYI - I have a Yamaha 3900 and an Outlaw LFM-1; my budget is 1k.

Thanks in advance.

One note is that I don't have the ability to mount on the wall (or in-wall) on the L/R side of the TV.

Those seem a bit too aggressive for what I need. I really just want to keep to it simple, either satellites or a standard 8" in-ceiling speaker w/ direction ability.
