Here it is, my wife wants to renovate the basement, she no longer wants speakers hanging on the walls, my room is 11' w x 25' l x 7.8' h where is the best place to mount in ceiling speakers and how many should I mount. my receiver is a Yamaha HTR-5760 7.1, I have RTiA8 for floor standing and a CSiA4 center channel

If I understood correctly, you are going to keep the central and the two frontal ones.
My suggestion is to place 2 in-ceiling speakers besides your couch.
Place them at a distance that make their sounds synchronized with those coming from the other loudspeakers. Get a tape measure, then measure the distance between the central speaker and your head as you were in the position of watching a movie. Place the ceiling-speakers besides you at a distance from your head equal to the one you found before.
Orientate the axis passing through the woofer and tweeter perpendicular to the front wall.
If you like, you can post the plan of your room together with its height, I will draw a sketch for you.
