cant get zone 2 sound using arc

cant get zone 2 to work via arc, no sound
unless i set the tcl to stereo. but then i dont get dolby d, dts etc. when watching netflix.

any ideas?

Zone 2 doesn't have multi-ch audio, does it? How about trying an optical connection instead? Could just be DRM getting in the way....many avrs have limited zone functions with digital sources...

^^ I doubt that avr will handle any digital audio for zone two. Either set it to stereo in the display when using zone two or buy a cheap DA converter and use optical output and run analog and hdmi audio for it.

yeah cant get it to work with arc. only if i set the tv to stereo and use optical to tv from avr will work
