Built in subs!

a buddy of mine got white vanned the other day, and bought a 5.1setup, just the speakers, it's almost identical to the 6040 system on this site: http://www.genesismedialabs.com/homeaudio.htm#51 but without a reciever or amp, and a non-powered sub which has two 12" drivers.

i, naturally made fun of him for hours, but, he got these six speakers for $80... the mdf has to be worth that, not? was that almost a fair price? opinions or experience with this brand would be great... he bought them in LA, but is a truck driver, so he won't be home with them for a week, to try them out, so, i'm just curious what they'll end up sounding like... think they'll beat my yami's?

The first clue that these speakers are junk, should be two tweeters! No one who knows what they are doing would ever do that.

They do look good though
