I inadvertently (screwed up) hooked up the bi-amp feature on my Yamaha RX-3050 to my Polk Rti-9 front speakers and forgot to remove the jumper on the speakers. It tripped out my surge protector. When I discovered my error I removed the jumper and tried it again but could not tell any difference with or without the bi-amp hook-up. Could I have damaged my speakers or amp by hooking it up wrong? Thank you for your input.

Since it is all the same transformer probably not. You would hear damage immediately. You weren't going to hear a difference with or without bi-amp. :)
