Best wire for my system

- I've just purchased a Jamo homecinema 5.0 speaker system and I'd appreciate any suggestion concerning the wire I should use to achieve the best performance.

- I've noticed that Jamo speakers are 6 ohm and my sub is 8 ohm. Despite my receiver works with both impedance, should I have any problem with that?

- Also, how to convert a wire specified as 2 x 1.50mm2 to the AWG number?

Receiver:
A/V Pioneer VSX-D414 (DD and DTS). It works in 8 ohm or 6 ohm.

Speakers (Jamo):
F - 2 PJFC 4500 (6 ohm) (towers)
C - 1 PJCC 4500 (6 ohm)
S - 2 PJSC 4500 (6 ohm)

Subwoofer:
Pioneer (6") - 100W (8 ohm)

Regards.

That wire size is about 15ga. Wire tables show wire diameter in mm as well, so just doing the math gets there. If this is your speaker wire size and the run is not that long, 10 ft or so, it will be fine.

Is you sub powered? If so, whatever you have now will do you well.

Thanks

Hi there, Mtrycrafts!

Your comments really helped me. Yeah, my sub is powered. I've just made a mistake, it's a 8" not 6" as I mentioned in my post.

With kind regards.
