Btw, I honestly think that it was a data entry mistake on their website...and that the price was indeed $75...each, not per pair.
But it did say "Pair" and "38lbs shipping weight"....and I do have a confirmation e-mail saying "Pair" "$75", so I think their loss is my gain.
Just got off the phone and the lady said they were backordered (ya think ), but it should ship late this week/early next.

This is the email I received @ 5:10 this afternoon:

Thank you for your recent order. I apologize but the text on our web site was incorrect. The B2030P are $149.00 per pair and $74.99 each. Did you need one speaker or a pair?

B&H honored it when they posted them at $75.

Maybe since you spoke with them, they'll honor yours.

I doubt it. I spoke to them around 1pm.
I got the same (expected) e-mail you did around 4pm.
I imagine they are sending a lot of those out .
I guess we'll see if they honor it, though I'm not sure about the legalities of the issue and holding them accountable...for their "mistake"...
We'll see.

I'm not holding my breath. I read the email as "you are SOL!".

It is interesting that they are offering to sell me one for $75. I think these are packaged as pairs and know that people are disappointed they normally have to buy them in pairs (when they want a center speaker as well as the mains).

They have single and pair retail boxing. I also had this happen with J&R just recently where they listed Pairs for 74. It's annoying because this essentially comes down to company policy here - most b&m stores will honor any pricing error but I have yet to have an online retailer do it for me.


The Single box is glossy white where as the Pair box has 2 single boxes inside a larger box that are flat cardboard colored.

I wrote them a long and respectful email explaining why I think they should seriously consider honoring their "mistake". They said they appreciated my "position" and will elevate the matter for consideration. I won't know until Monday whether or not I got them . I ordered two pair because of the good deal but I will be canceling my entire order if they don't honor it.
