B&W CM 2's as mains?

I have an excellent opportunity to get 2 pairs of B&W CM 2's (with stands) for an exceptional price (from a friend who upgraded). One set of speakers and one set of stands are still in the original packaging and unopened as he bought these for future "presence" speakers in a 6.1 or 7.1 setup.

Right now, I am running Bose 601's as my mains/fronts and Bose 301's as my rears and was wondering if I should ditch my fronts and run CM 2's as my fronts and rears (I figure in the near future I will get a chance to get the same persons CM 6's to run as fronts)? The Bose are fairly new as they were purchased about 4 or 5 years ago and the CM 2's (though discontinued) are about 2 years old and in excellent shape.

Comparing anything that blose offers to anything B&W offers, is like comparing a steaming pile of dog crap to angle food cake. That's all I'm going say about that! Ignore my signature! I’d make the same statement about blose and just about any other decent speaker company!

The CM2 is a great speaker...especially if powered by the right amp/reciever. I have heard them powered by rotel and was very impressed.
