While looking for another pair of speakers to demo lately, I called HiFi House, a local B&M shop, to see what brands they still carried and was greeted by a pre-recorded message that they were no longer in business. I was thinking to myself, I wonder what they're going to do with their leftover stock? Well I got the answer yesterday, via an AudiogonN e-mail, about an upcoming on-line liquidation sale.

It figures I bought my Salk SongTower's & SongCenter about an hour before.:D

Thanks for the alert! I may go to the second auction as I am not far from Lafayette Hill.

Congrats on that purchase :D!

As you will soon learn first hand, Salk speakers are the best treatment for chronic Audio Nirvana Nervosa. After several months with them, you won't care what local stores carry.

Still they aren't a complete cure for this condition. Apparently the guy selling them is buying something further up the Salk food chain.
