am curious. What is the best way to reduce the chance of annoying an upstairs or next door neighbor while listening to loud stero music in an apartment without to0 many apartment modifications?

Wear headphones?

Invite them over for the party?

Buy the apartment building and convert it into a home for the deaf?

Thats about it,headphones or move. If i was in an apartment,i would'nt invest in much as far as HT. A good TV,yes but you just have too thin of walls and *****y people. Doesnt take much bass at all to hear through walls.

I know, my upstairs neighbor plays his bump bump music early in the morning. So I get him back late at night.

Overall, I would ask you neighbors if listening to loud music before 9PM is going to bother them. Come to an agreement.
