Anything better than these for $800?

Over at another forum, you were already talked into buying RTi A9 - and didn't seem open
to anything else - and were excited about them - are you now having second thoughts?

I thought you would have bought them by now.

They would not be my first choice - for around $1000, I would prefer something else.

depends what you are looking for, its hard to ask which speakers to buy since what sounds good to me may not to you, for $800 I would be looking for bookshelf speakers since the towers offered IMO are all lacking...
For $1000 you can get a pair of CST1's from gr research on sale, normal price $2000...

Do you already have subs?

If so, I would get bookshelf speakers (due to budget).... Unless you diametrically must have towers.

A vote for the CST1's, can't imagine a better tower for 1000 a pair.
