Any SSH/ Apple TV experts.....

I need HELP! I installed Boxee and XBMC to my Apple TV and up until recently, worked great. Long story short: I need to access my APTV remotely through windows and after downloading putty, I keep receving various error messages. I have entered sshfrontrow@192.xxx (my aptv IP address). Still nothing. I receive a black screen where I try to type frontrow but it errors out. Very frustrating... can anyone offer any help? Thxs!

You need to enter just the IP in Putty not the IP+hostname or whatever you have in your first post.....also I'm not sure if XBMC uses an alternate port for SSHD but I would try 8080 as well as 22. It should prompt you for logon after you connect.

Ok, just so I understand when you say enter ip in putty, this is the apple tv IP, correct?

finally had a chance to do this... and I am entering the IP address of my Apple TV in the field Host Name or IP Address. I still get Network error, connection refused. I am lost. HELP!

I'd try to reset apple tv to factory defaults and then reinstall boxee

Ok, restored APTV factory settings, reinstalled boxee. However, still have same problem as b4- Some Apps just don't play For over a year e/thing worked great and then about a week ago probably 25% of the apps stopped working and won't load. Very frustrating. Is there anything else you recommend? Thxs
