After I finished with the day's work I decided to find some new jazz to love. I fussed around Spotify until I came across Beegie Adair - a female jazz pianist from Kentucky. I was immediately taken with her style and her music. Her music is not complex. It is not challenging. It is happy, pleasant, clean and entertaining. Think of a cocktail lounge pianist with a trio and impeccable technique. I've actually done some cocktail lounge piano playing in my day and I fell in love with her stuff immediately. So I started ripping her albums from Spotify and here it is 8:30 p.m. and I'm still working on it. Just thought I'd stop by the forum and put in a good word for her. If you like Jazz, take a minute and stream some of her music. I think you will find it as refreshing as an iced tea.
