Going to ask a quetion should know answer but don't,What is the differnce between a amp and a mono block amp?

Depending on what you're asking, it could be a difference in the architecture of the electronics. In common terms, though, "mono block" just means that it amps one channel.

So you would need two mono block amps for a left and right stereo channel?

Kinda what I what I thought ,didn't know for sure.What would be a good amp to bi amp my nht 2.5's,would like something similar to the sa 2 amp I use for my sub.

I'm not using my A&B channels on my Yamaha could I use them to bi amp?

I know how i am I'll just save my money and find a another B&K or sa 2 to run the bottoms

Ok, so you are using a 2 channel Amp at 125/watts/ch...

What is it you are trying to do? It sounds like you are thinking of bi-amping your speakers?

If so, what type of speakers do you have?
