AE-3 Preamp

I recently purchased a used AE-3 and am absolutely thrilled with its performance. It's coupled to a Rotel SS amp with 200/rms. I'm driving B&W 805 monitors and they have discovered Nirvana! Question for the members:

What is the "other" connection for? Could it be another "output?" I have heard it is NOT for a turntable.

It more than likely is just another line level input for a tuner or or tape deck.
