Add possible center channel

I have two Radio Shack Optimus Pro 77 speakers that I use as right and left front speakers that I use in my surround sound system.I would like to add a center channel speaker, but I can’t use the Radio Shack Optimus center speaker because its too high in dimension in front of the flat panel TV. Can I get a center channel speaker of a different brand that can come close in timbre of the Optimus Right and Left speakers, if so how? I really would like to have the center channel speaker if possible.

It is highly unlikely that you will find a center from another manufacturer that will be a good timbre match. Raise the TV to clear the speaker. Problem solved.

Or, you could place the Optimus center on top of the tv.

Maybe you could build a platform for your TV that will let you slide the Center underneath the TV.
