Is there any advantage in connecting the video from my components through the A/V receiver instead of directly to my HDTV, except for using the A/V receiver as a source switcher? I would think that connecting directly to the TV would be the best method for the best possible image and least chance of introducing any noise or interferrence. Also, it would be less expensive, no need for additional cables!
