4 step process to better LPs

For any of you using a TT and needing to cleanup some of the older LPs, I've come up with an easy 4 step process.
From doing some searching, I've found what's considered to be the best cleaning solution is a 50/50 mixture of rubbing alcohol and distilled water. I keep it in a spray bottle.
I lay the LP on a piece of 1/8" open cell packing wrap, to cushion the other side, but anything soft will do.

1. First I spray the LP with a liberal amount of the alcohol mixture, then I use a piece of old T-shirt and work it into the grooves.
2. Then another piece of shirt, dampen with distilled water, and wipe down the LP again.
3. Then use a 3rd piece of shirt to mostly dry it off.
4. Then I vacuum the LP using a cleaned brush attachment.

Of coarse, all the cleaning is done going with the grooves.
It doesn't get rid of all the snap, crackles, and pops, but I'd say it gets rid of at least 85~90% of all the dirt and surface noise.
I've restored some LPs, that were so bad, I'd thought of tossing them out. But now they are almost as good as new.
I even had to do it to a new 200gr LP, as it had more surface noise than it should, which is none.
