I bought 19' of 12 AWG Silver Kapton Teflon Speaker Wire from johnswireshop.com ebay store in march and thought I post some pics. It was an impulse buy fueled by curiosity, $22 for 19' of 12 gauge silver 2 conductor... couldn't resist.

I know this is totally overkill and completely not necessary to connect 2 TsC TSBL's to a Denon 2808, so please take it easy on me. The other speakers in my system are connected using monoprice 14 AWG speaker wire.

This is the 12 AWG Silver wire compared to a penny:

With the silver speaker wire I feel cymbals are more pronounced and kick drums are tighter... just kidding:p. However they do sound great and look robust.

If that is solid silver not just a coating, it is a good buy:D

I had to do a little research because ebay will not let me view the auction listing (older than 90 days) and the seller does not have other auctions with the same cable. I am guessing its silver coated, based on all the other cables from the seller are silver coated. When looking at the wire its hard to tell because there is about 30 or so little strands and they are all silver.
