    RBH Sound Owner's Thread

I'm a little jelly! I am disappointed that the 8300s are gone. I have a set for the front and wanted to eventually have a set for the rears of my HT. I think the 831/1212 are out of my reach, money wise. Although I would love a set of even larger towers than the 8300s. Needless to say...

    My Journey To RBH Sound

I've purchased several of their products, including the SX8500's, a pair of earphones and a set of headphones. I've emailed them several times with questions and comments and have always received a quick friendly response. It's unfortunate that you had a couple of bad experiences, but mine...

    I miss av123

I had two sets of AV123 speakers. I sold my Statiks to a family member. Those sounded great but I used the proceeds to help fund my RBH 8300's. I still have the MFW 15 and a pair of RS450's a pair of RS750s and the smaller center channel. If I get rid of them, it will be to another family...

I don't love their aesthetic either, and I really wanted ATI or the Outlaw version as I try to buy American made whenever possible. That wasn't in the cards right now. However, it's easy to do what I've done in the past. When I get the ability to update/upgrade, I move the old equipment to...

No, the old back is ok, just a small handful of ruptured discs, to no fault of the speakers! I am looking forward to bi-amping them, I did breakdown and purchased an emotiva amp. not my first choice, but after hearing about the discontinuation of the SX 8300s, I wanted to skimp here in hopes...

    RBH Sound Owner's Thread

No pics yet, I've been down with my back so I haven't gotten the feet on them yet. I am still enjoying them, however. The only thing is, I need to take a week off from work to really enjoy them! I did watch the 2 Star Treks (newer ones) and didn't miss the external sub that really enjoyed for...

They will eventually be bi-amped! I am also planning on watching some good movies later today! I couldn't tell a ton of difference with and without the sub connected, so that is really awesome! When I get the back 2, that will be super sweet!

SX 8300's are up and running. Nothing like a big honking tower! Haven't ran room correction through the receiver yet, but at least the break in has started. I still have the sub hooked up, but will disconnect it once I get an amp for the towers. I'll probably do it before then, because I'm...

I just have to get his butt in gear. It's a friend of the family and a bit flakey, so we'll see.

Right now, I'm running off of my AVR, the Yamaha RXA 2020, which may have to do for a bit. I may have a line on a sunfire amp, but I'm not sure yet, and I don't know much about them.

I waited around too long on the amps, but I'm getting closer to the speaker purchase. I understand you may be a good resource for finding a reputable dealer, so I may be hitting you up soon.

I'll have to double check, but I think it's -10dB to +10dB. While not as cool as a big a$$ amp, a sub amp would be the smartest. However, I'm not always known to do smart. I am good at extreme and conflicted.

While we're on the subject...I have about decided on the SX8300's, so I'm liquidating what I can to pay for them. The next question is, do I really need a dedicated amp for them? I will be driving them with a Yamaha RXA 2020. Outlaw audio is having a pretty good deal on their amps which I...

Perhaps they've always done it, but I noticed that they are selling their ear buds through their main domain (RBH) as well as Amazon. Since their dealers don't stock, might as well sell them directly. Thing is, you'll probably be able to get a better deal through a dealer.

Amen! I know in some other industries, you have to stock x-amount to be a dealer. You should at least have to have some speakers for the consumer to listen to. I wouldn't have as big of an issue buying a $1000 car without a test drive, but I would not even consider buying a $4000+ car without...

And when I say inventory, I consider as most businesses, speakers that are on a showroom, so auditions can happen. I'm not saying they should have an Amazon warehouse full of speakers. I'm not that impatient. I'm trying to step away from ID, I've never purchased a speaker where I was able to...

Not saying they have to stock that kind of inventory. But stocking $0 worth of inventory is not a dealer.

    PSB Owners Thread

I have some PSB B6 that I purchased about 1 year ago, still in the box. I also have a C4, because I waited too long to get the C5. It is still in the box too. I did open them and look at them, and they are beautiful.
