Subscribed to both for many years.

I have an pc13 ultra at home and it's awesome. Pretty sure the cracks between the ceiling sheetrock panels are due to vibration. Highly recommended.

If I won this sub I would take it to work and make friends.

Already subscribed to both. I am already looking to buy a svs sub for my birthday this year. This would give a chance to try out the benefits of dual subs.

Moved from Contest sub:

I've been meaning to sign up and order the e-book buying guides for some time now and the sub giveaway was a great reason to finally do so! I was already a subscriber to the SVS newsletter as I see an ultra setup in my future but have now also signed up for the Audioholics newsletter as well.

I stumbled across Gene and Hugo about a year ago and have watched every youtube upload of the two of them giving their 2 cents on the various topics of audio and gear.

Since discovering the site, I have made some big changes to my HT system based on the reviews and information provided by these two guys and have really taken to the hobby of audio in a big way.

With all the brands and options out there, having a trusted source for information is a must. I have brought brands such as Anthem, miniDSP, Blue Jeans Cable, and SVS into my home based on Audioholics recommendations and have enjoyed every bit of every item.

My system is quite modest, as I don't have the biggest budget for the hobby but am having a blast these days exploring DIY areas such as room acoustics and software aids like REW and Diffmaker (two more Audioholics recommendations!).

I was about to pull the trigger on a PB-1000 two months ago but decided that I needed to earn it by exploring all the potential of my current system as it isn't always just about the gear. I am still a long way from truly maximizing what I have, but a PB-2000 would be one heck of an upgrade and would really be a blast to explore. I had been going back and forth between the 1000 and 2000 series SVS subs and also debating ported or sealed. I recently decided on going ported due to the low freq extension and the the PB-1000 instead of the 2000 due to price. I plan on going dual but if I was to get a 2000 in a giveaway I would be able to eventually spend the dual 1000 budget on a second 2000, and that would just be the bees knees.

Regardless of who wins, thank you Gents for everything you provide to the industry and I look forward to what Audioholics has in store for us going forward.

Cheers.

I am currently working to renovate our basement to include a home theatre so my family and I can all finally sit together and enjoy a movie night. I have dreamed of this for years and am finally getting started. My first choice of speaker systems will be the SVS prime series. Living in Canada has made it more expensive to get the SVS speakers due to the dollar exchange rate. But...the SB 2000 would be a great start...

I want to win this so I can finally start with the first piece of a real home theater system build. I wish I would've come across this forum and the vast knowledge being shared by the members before making my purchase on a cheap system.

Currently subscribed to both newsletters. This additional sub would give me dual svs subs and I know dual would give me more even bass sound in my room.

i remember the first 'salmon smoker' tall tubular svs sub i bought some 8-10 yrs ago.
i calibrated it using a (Rush) Neil Peart drum solo...Neil started his solo on his big deep bass drums.
i had it set a bit too loud so when Neil banged those bass drums i could see the waves go across the mirrors on the side walls....thought to myself 'f..k me!...rock on!':D
...but poor dude upstairs...he was an old German guy...later told me it reminded him of
being back in his German baracks during a shelling in WW II..BOOM BOOM BOOM ;)
..so trying to keep up with new technology and support a good company.

A year ago I bought an SVS 2000 Sub and could not believe how good it is. I'd like to pair it with another, as I've just bought a new processor and in 4 days will install a 65" LG OLED TV, so my family and I can enjoy movies as they should be, in full visual and audio color!! Thanks Gene, and thanks SVS, great contest! Fingers crossed!

Why I need to win this? Ran out of money upgrading my speakers and need a great sub to go with them.

I have subscribed to both newsletters for some time, and the news on this brand has always been good. Would love to have one to hear them, but also because my wife likes music but doesn't like large speakers. This would fit the bill quite well!
