    Arrow NYNE SMC-1000 Smart Media Center Preview

    If the idea of a soundbar is too much clutter for you or seeing any piece of home theater equipment other than a TV will ruin your décor, then the NYNE SMC-1000 might just be your dream product. The SMC-1000 is a media cabinet that has compartments to hide your equipment out of sight and a built-in 2.1 stereo system to provide "audiophile" sound. It has an impressive array of connections like HDMI, 3.5mm, and USB, as well as AirPlay and Bluetooth connectivity. NYNE's goal with their new Smart Media Center line, of which the SMC-1000 is the first product to be announced, was to design a modern piece of furniture that would allow consumers to do away with stacks of equipment and jumbles of wire. Keep a lookout at CES 2013 for more information on the entire line of Smart Media Centers.

    Ikea Uppleva is getting shoddy reviews because the included TCL monitor is craptastic and the media center software is falling short on many fronts. This looks like a BYOD version of Uppleva, which is a much smarter way to go about it.
    Home Office: Behringer 1030A, SVS PB-12 Ultra, measured. Comfy Room: PS3, Sennheiser RS120, Samsung UN46B8500. On the Go: Sansa Clip lost , Etymotic ER-6i commandeered by wife!

    Speaking of Uppleva, I can't not to mention this again:
    New IKEA Uppleva Is A SNAP To Assemble! - CONAN on TBS - YouTube
    TV: TC-P55ST30 , AVR: TX-SR805. The Speaker Company 2x TST2, TC2, 2x TSB , Premier Acoustic PA-120 Sub, Netgear NeoTV 550, Harmony 880 URC RFS200, PC->Toslink-> Audioengine D1->JBL LSR2325P
    When you're arguing with an idiot, make sure the person you are speaking to isn't doing the same thing.

    Conan hit the nail on the head with this one, I never get tired of watching it.
