    Default Software to delay audio?

    Hello all,

I am experiencing audio lag when playing back 3d content at 23/24hz with my HTPC.

    This is my setup:

    Nvidia 670 > HDMI > Vizio E3D420VX Passive 3d Display

On board audio > optical cable > Onkyo HT-R520

My understanding is that PowerDVD is forcing my resolution to 23/24hz for 3d playback, which is causing a delay in my television's video processing when compared to my audio processing.

Solutions appear to be hardware based. My receiver is old and does not have a delay feature.

My question is, does anyone know of a program that will delay audio? I've tried FFDSHOW, but it appears that is codec based. Since PowerDVD uses its own codec, it bypasses FFDSHOW.

    Any help is appreciated.

I really don't want to buy a new receiver.

I use XBMC to play my movies and it has a auido sync feature built in. I;ve had a few mkv movies where the audio and video dont sync, with XBMC i can tweak it pretty easily.
