Help picking an av receiver

So what would happen if I were to crank up to volume all the way up to maximum? I'd have no distortion coming out of the fronts but maybe some distortion coming out of the surrounds (assuming we're playing some heavy content that plays equal on all channels)? So then I'd never truly be able to fully take advantage of these fronts with this amp?

clipping at high volumes = permanent damage to speakers. If you hear distortion lower the volume right away!
You have amp pre-outs on 3312 - later on you can buy just the amp, for example Emotiva xpa-3 or something with even more kick
