    Arrow Blizzard Announces World of Warcraft: Cataclysm

    Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. today announced that World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, the highly anticipated third expansion for the popular subscription-based massively multiplayer online role-playing game, will be released starting on December 7, 2010. The expansion will be available on DVD-ROM for Windows XP/Windows Vista/Windows 7 and Macintosh at a suggested retail price of $39.99 and will also be offered as a digital download from the Blizzard Store. A special Collector's Edition packed with bonus items will be available exclusively in retail stores for a suggested retail price of $79.99.

    On the MAC side it is only for Intel Macs...they changed the graphics engine and it will not work on PowerPC Macs.

    Blizzard sure has a way of making games with staying power. Video game years are like dog years, which means that WoW is still kinda a big deal 42 years after its release. Only a handful of games still have had tons of people playing 6 calendar years after their initial release. One that comes to mind was the original Starcraft...also a Blizzard game.

    All the terrain changes are live as of today. Old world content is pretty amazing!

    I have been afk for 2 years, and i found PC games are more absorbing, now i am playing COD.
