Default Lee Ritenour and Friends: Overtime Blu-Ray $6

Best Buy is taking preorders (releases 6/19) for the Blu-Ray for $6 with free shipping. It's $15 at Amazon. Link

I have the DVD and my only quibble is that I wish the band commentary was on an extras disc instead of interspersed between songs.

    Synopsis
One of the leading guitarists of the fusion jazz movement and a first-call session player, Lee Ritenour has earned a reputation as a musician's musician, and this special performance video finds him looking back at the broad range of his career. Lee Ritenour and Friends: Overtime features sets from four combos in four different styles -- acoustic jazz, Brazilian sounds, Ritenour's contemporary work from the '80s, and his classic fusion material. Ritenour's accompanists for these sessions include Dave Grusin, Ivan Lins, Patrice Rushen, Ernie Watts, Chris Botti, Steve Forman, Harvey Mason, Alex Acuņa, Kenya Hathaway, and many more. Selections include "Blue in Green," "Captain Fingers," "Night Rhythms," "Harlequin," "Captain Caribe," and more. ~ Mark Deming, Rovi

Lee Ritenour is one of today's best jazz guitarists. I will have to check this one out.

I discovered his music back when PBS was showing Ramsey Lewis' Legends Of Jazz series on their HD feed. I liked it so much that I started buying jazz CDs like crazy plus the DVDs of the series and the best of the series "Legends of Jazz: Showcase" Blu-Ray back before the prices for the Blu-Ray went crazy.

Amazon.com: Legends of Jazz with Ramsey Lewis, Volume One (DVD/CD): Various Artists: Movies & TV
Amazon.com: Legends of Jazz with Ramsey Lewis, Vol. 2 (DVD/CD): Ramsey Lewis: Movies & TV
Amazon.com: Legends of Jazz: Showcase [Blu-ray]: Various: Movies & TV

Here's the episode with Lee Ritenour, Marcus Miller and George Duke. The music starts roughly 6 min into the video.
