Just wanted to drop a note to everyone that once again Liberty Cable has a good selection of their top of the line and now discontinued Z500 series cables in their bargain bin. These are top quality "audiophile" cables for pretty small money.

Highly recommended as well, I re-cabled my entire system with these a year ago when they had a similar clearance. They are pretty large cables with good quality connectors and a silk/cloth sheath around them. Liberty makes cables mainly for the custom install industry.
Anyway, Not affiliated just spreading the word. Of course, that is after i made sure to get a few more pairs to finish off what I needed
Liberty's THX(TM)CERTIFIED Ultimate Audio
Interconnect features Ohno-Continuous Cast Copper
conductors(OCC). Each copper strand is a single continuous
99.99997% pure crystal. The foam polyethlyene insulation
and nested twist of the conductors give this product one of
the lowest capacitance specifications in the world of audio
interconnects. The double layer OCC braided shields offer
fantastic shielding against low frequency interference.
Silver solder is used to connect the 5um gold plated
Shrouded RCA plugs for excellent audio performance. This
product features a Polypro silk mesh overall jacket for an
attractive and functional covering to the product.
Available in retail packaged pairs in 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2, 3, and
4 meter lengths with Red and Blue banded glossy white RCA
plugs.
Got the cables to finish off my system yesterday. Thought I'd post some pics to show what they are since the liberty site does not have much information. And I know most people here have never heard of them. Rarely am I a "fanboy" for something but I love these cables for the price. In addition to the audio interconnects I also ordered a set of component video cables and a couple .5m digital coaxial cables to keep on hand for future use. I did not realize it before, but the video and digital audio cables are actually different from the analog audio cables. Because of the type of connector on them it looks like they are using a coaxial cable because they have crimp on connectors whereas the audio cables have soldered on connectors that are a little higher quality. The audio cables are also a larger diameter. *EDIT* apparently it is a soldered connector with a crimp ferrule. from liberty site-
Each copper strand is a single continuous
99.99997% pure crystal. This product features true precison
video coaxial construction. A high strand 23 AWG center
conductor, Foam Polyethylene dielectric insulation, and a
dual 100% Copper Foil and 95% coverage OCC Copper Braid
shield make this 75-Ohm cable excellent for analog Video
applications. The use of Silver Solder for the center
conductor and Crimp Ferrule Shield termination make this RCA
termination 75-Ohm.
Also note that the analog stereo cables have directional arrows on them because the shield is only connected at one end (see photo). The digital and video cables are not directional.
One thing to consider is that when you checkout they do not give an estimated shipping charge. It was 10 or 12 dollars for my order from NC to Maine for UPS ground.

Those are nice looking for the money. If the sale goes for a while longer maybe I'll pick some up for my office system.

thanks![]()
You might be able to get a quoted shipping cost if you call them to order. Not sure. When you order they have stock in North Carolina and Colorado so depending on where you are I'd be sure to specify which to ship from.
