I recently purchased these on audiogon with the intent of making the move to tube amplification, unfortunately financial situation does not allow me to make the additional investment in a quality amp and pre amp at this time.
The speakers are overall in great shape except for one of the rear edges that was previously damaged. It is barly noticeable from the front. The Def Pros also come with the Rane PEQ55 for equalizing the 8 10" bass drivers that the pair contains, truly top of the line bass reproduction on par with just about anything. Just add amplification of your choice and the speakers are ready to sing.
You have read the reviews, now experience the speaker at a fraction of the original cost.
